Restoring character while reimagining for modern family life

A Grade II listed barn had lost some of it’s original features following an unsympathtic conversion in the nineties. The owners approached us with a view to restore and bring back the character of the space.

In the Green Belt, just outside Beaconsfield, the transformation undertook a sensitive renovation that highlights original features and in parallel allowed for a fresh and modern living space.

The work included an extensive remodel with a review of it’s historical features. As a result, it is now a home that respectfully champions its heritage, restoring it for future generations of the family in a charmingly personaly way.

Client: Private Homeowner Project Type: Listed & Conservation Area Project Budget: + 400k Project Location: Beaconsfield Responsible Architects: James Allen
